Founder and chairman Rony Dassen started together with colleagues - trainer Kris Engelen, the Hapkido school "Chung do" Kwan in Rekem. "Chung do" is derived from the different tendencies that the fighting in the former Korea were divided. Het betekent zoveel als "rechtdoor - rechtaan". It means as much as "straight - forward." The aim is the traditional Hapkido to teach and disseminate. |

| Mr. Yvan De Wever, president
of the UNBHU, in June 1996 officially recognized the existence of this club
and Rekem. This newborn Limburg Hapkido - club grew in a few months to about
twenty members. Now, a few years, we can say that we live in the region
already have a fixed value and we may still rely heavily on a rising number
of members. The club was also recognized by dojunim Ji Han-jae and soon got himself president Rony Dassen the written confirmation of Ji Han-Jae to the Belgian Sin Moo Hapkido Association there. (see Recognition Certificate) It operates directly under DoJuNim Ji Han-Jae with whom he regularly is in contact, and he authorized them to take exams . |
